In a show that takes on just about everything the elite hold sacred,South Park has once again taken aim at the drug war.The show is called all about boobs but the story line is pure drug war .Kids getting high on cat urine leads to the DEA seizing all the cats. It's posted on DIGG and I found it on the FOX's homepage. It's hilarious and if you like South Park you'll love this one. I know i've mentioned our esteemed Solicitor General John Les on the site before.Seems this paragon of virtue is under investigation for some sneaky land deals while he was mayor of Chilliwack. The investigation's been going on for almost a year but they just told us today.Les resigned but is still holding his seat and wants everyone to know how confident he is that he will be exonerated.Like we haven't heard that one before. The gentle guy that robbed skytrain women got eight years less time served. He'll have to do another 5&1/2.The paper seemed to lose it's empathy for the guy and joined the name calling like all the other rags. The Hells Angels were acquitted on running a criminal enterprise charges today. If they can't convict the Angels, you can kiss that little end run around the justice system goodbye.I have no love for the Hells Angels but Ive less respect for a police force that sees the crap that is RICO(is that 1 C or 2)and tries to change the rules in mid play. The prohibition of alcohol created the modern mafia and it took a bogus law to bring them down because they had too much money.Perhaps the Angels will find themselves in the same position after the prohibition of drugs has them cash rich. The South Park show did a really good job of showing how hypocritical people are that smoked pot in college but think their own kids don't have the brains god gave shit.I doubt the people that are drug war advocates even watch South Park. That group of citisens that was so outraged at the recent drug conferences did what they said and formed their own group and are all over looking for their share of the drug war pie. That was what they were so pissed about. They thought they had a right to the same share of money that they had been given for their abstinence programs.I think they worry more about their share than about any high minded motives. It's just an observation made from having to listen to them bitch after holding the floor at our meetings for a good deal of the time. They were all about the money.I guess they have jobs in the rehab field and would hate to see harm reduction make any more gains. The proposals they made mirrored the current federal government program of sending the message to the very young. They obviously didn't read the studies on similar programs down south and the negative impacts those programs had.Not big on research, the just say no crowd.I guess when all the evidence points to you being an idiot it's no fun reading.
